Hey guys

Dane swan is $26 for the brownlow... worth putting a few bob on i rekon... good value..especially before it gets lower if he contines playin the way he does.

U guys think he is a chance??

he's more of a chance than me but I wouldn't slap down any hard earned on him,

Dane Swan is the sort of player, that while he will get his 25+ disposals and 8 marks a game - he still goes unnoticed, which for the mighty pies - is a great thing. However not so great when it comes to brownlow votes from the umpires.

Wait till end of season and do club multi's. Swan will have to contend with Shaw and Lockyer at the same time at a similar price, so odds won't be too short.

Jimmy Bartel would still be leading at the moment with Kerr pretty close behind. G A Jnr is still chasing i reckon at the moment. As for Swan, I doubt he will figure to greatly because of the evenness of the pies line-up.

As with the season. I think that a number of players can win this year. The winner may end up having less than 20 votes. It could be a year for someone like Scott West to get the nod.

Very similar year to '93 IMO

cant see swanny winning it. I dont even think he will win the Copeland. Hes had a fantastic season thus far however.

Kerr has been suspended twice now...only need to get suspended once to be out of contention :thumbsu:

Can't see Swan winning it...Tarks has a better chance as Swan doesn't really show it (he goes unnoticed)

I realise that mate but it doesn't stop them from getting votes!

Spot on! Great player for us and having a terrific season. However, not the type that picks up Brownlow votes. Who cares?!

swanny polled alright last year with 11 votes when no one really knew who he was.
Might get a few more this year hopefully :)

Very fair point. Will be more noticeable this year, as he has also featured in the Inside Football medal, hes going alright in the Herald Sun award too. I'd actually think about putting some $$$ on him because he will be getting more then the 11 he got last year. Could win it. He is our standout midfielder infront of the opposition.
