Buddy's role

Hi all, apologies if this should be in the autopsy thread.

I wasn't able to watch the game last night and was just wondering whether anyone could comment on the role buddy played this week.

Last week he shifted from the midfielder/forward role and played predominantly as a leading fully forward. Did he play that way again against Port, or did he revert back to the midfielder/forward role?

How do you think Clarko will play him for the rest of the season?

He wasn't in the forward 50 the entire game, but at a guess, I'd have said he spent at least 80% of the game ahead of the ball. ie: as a forward target, not a midfielder

i would say the easiest way to explain it was when roughead rucked, buddy was the closest player to our goal, whether it be 10m out or 60m out. when rough went forward, they changed it up a bit, but he was still primarily a forward. did see him up the ground occasionally, but nothing like what we are used to seeing. still wish theyd get it in quicker to him.
