I think he was just one of spikes friends and was ah, looking after spikes place while he was gone. But then Buffy came and asked he to look after Dawn....so yeah....

I am buying in, ONLY because my GF is a frickin Buffy freak, and I have no choice but to watch it. I actually have started to enjoy it.

The guy to whom you refer is Clem, and he is a friend of Spike, and was asked to mind his pad while he was off galavanting the countryside for a soul.

I reckon Spike getting a soul will be good for the series. He will be one messed up individual. The thousands he killed will haunt him (see angel) and he will be in crazy land for a long time. He will go back to Buffy expecting her to be rapt with his new aqquisition, but will be given the arse. Recipe for disaster.

Dawn ***** me to tears. Can't stand her. Whing whinge frickin whinge. I was hoping Willow ended her last night. The three nerds cracked me up, but I was a bit miffed at the obvious gay refernce between the really sooky one and the guy Willow skinned.

Angel is a heap better ATM, and I would probably watch it even if the Buffy freak was not in the picture. Cordelia is the best looking women on the planet.

Absolutely agree with Angel being better than Buffy. I stopped watching Buffy after she graduated as it was on too late and i had to get my beauty sleep before school.
Because of this i never understood how she died and the whole 'willow now a dyke and into magic' kind of thang.
Then Dawn came in and my god, the show stretched the whole 'key of the universe' (or whatever) for far too long until there were so many new characters being introduced that i just couldn't keep up with it!
I enjoyed the old formula of one-case-a-week, Buffy saves the day and everyone goes home happy! (That storyline with the cookies that made the oldies young again was a classic!)
Angel at the moment is starting to have a re-occuring storyline as well which makes me wonder whether it too will become tedious (but then i see Cordelia and that makes everything just fine! )

But, you actually should note that I said I enjoy it sometimes, and I am not forced to watch it. It is Buffy, or go to bed alone. Watching Buffy is a frickin good option. I meant to say that I have only ever come across the show because of my invlovement with a total Buffy tragic. It is not the type of show I would usually get into.

The show keeps getting better and better..I can't believe people think Angel is better , that show has become a complete mess but each to their own i guess..

Buffy may not have been as entertaining this year but the character devlopment and the way they have handled the growing up theme has been great..Painful to watch and miserable but ******* great TV..

In regards to Spike's receiving his soul back, wouldn't that render the anti vampire chip in his head useless? Technically he is no longer a proper vampire.................... just a thought.

Angel IMO was better than Buffy right from the start, I prefer to watch SMG but the fights and detective style storylines are much more intriguing than the love triangle type that Buffy dishes up.

Faith ended up in jail of her own free will!

She came to LA to kill Angel (or so we assumed), but actually wanted Angel to kill her. Instead, he gave her shelter so she could work herself out.

Buffy came to LA, asked "WTF is going on?", and had a big fight with Faith, winding up on Angel's roof. Some helicoptors showed up (apparently B wasn't the only one after F) and Faith made her escape.

Angel and B went to see Angel's cop friend, Kate (I think this must have been 1st series), where they found Faith had turned herself in. Faith was last seen a little later in the episode where Angel first goes to Lorne's (the green demon) Karaoke bar. She was still in the clink.

There will not be another slayer called after Buffy's second death. The slayer line now goes through Faith. After Buffy died the first time, the next slayer was Kendra. She came to Sunnydale but was killed by Dru at the end of series 2. Faith then replaced Kendra.

Yeah I think you're right, that's my theory on it anyway.

Last night's episode was so good. I loved it, was practically glued to the tv the entire time, and was thrilled when Giles walked in (yes I'm emotionally attatched to Giles.) This season has been... different. There were some completely boring episodes and a few that were close to "best ever" - I'm thinking the singing one here, and I know there was another really good episode but I can't quite remember which one though. I like the fact that they've been mostly self contained withing the episode this season, with the running plot only in the background, which has been a bit better. The running plot however was more boring than in past seasons.

I enjoyed last nights show, loved the evil Willow & all the action, totally hated the soppy ending, why do they have to end it with a happy ever after, wicked evil witch about to destroy the earth is stopped by someone saying I love you, PUKE, making Spike human again p***ed me off, I thought they would turn him back into a bad vampire.

I get the feeling that whiny Dawny might be the next slayer, notice that she ended up fighting like a slayer last night, maybe when Buffy died, Dawn was made the next slayer but didn't find out because Buffy came back.

Anyway, can't wait till Angel tonight I prefer it to Buffy, that green karaoke singing demon Loren I think his name is, really cracks me up, kinda looks like a green Peverill.

Oh wow, I haven't watched Angel in ages, I found I always fell asleep when it was on, but when you used the description "a green Peverill" I remembered exactly who you meant - I thought the same thing when I last watched it. Heh.

As for Dawn being the next slayer, I thought the same thing last night, but given the fact that she was really only a key, isn't it a little strange that she would become the "chosen one"? I don't really think that there's a nother slayer after buffy, but instead after Faith, however, I did see a small snippet of an interview somewhere, who knows where, where smg said that her leaving the show didn't necessarily mean the end, as it could carry on with Dawn, so who knows?

Well im an avid Buffy and Angel fan and i must admit while the Buffy series had its moments (the FANTASTIC singing episode was an absolute classic) it wasnt as good as Angel's series. However both ended extremely well and am looking forward to the next season.

Angel had more angle this season with the Cordy, Angel Gru triangle and the Fred, Gunn, Wes triangle. Then Darla came back, she kicks ass, then Connor, Holtz returned, then the last 3 weeks has being great with Holtz stealing Connor after Wes got his throat slit, and then Angel trying to kill Wes. Wesley then being the outcast and Connor returns...youve all seen it, very impressive.

Good season ender though, Angel and Cordy about to claim there love for one another then Cordy has to go to a new realm to use her growing powers elsewhere I love Skip aswell, he's hilarious.

Then Connor ties up Angel and sends him to the bottom of the deep blue sea....and nobody knows he's down there? Interesting to see how they will start next season. Oh and whats with everyone in love with Cordelia, yeah she's hot but Fred is waaaaay better.

On Buffy!! What a kick ass last 3 hours. Very happy with Spike getting a soul, he keeps the entire show interesting and is probably my favourite character in both Angel and Buffy. Buffy will prolly reject him for the rape thing though so it will be interesting to see how he handles having a soul. Willow was cool, being evil and **** and killing people

Oh and how cool was it when Giles returned and started the whoop ass on Willow!! Go Giles!! Nice ending with Xander finally being the hero after being useless all episode. I wonder if Tera will stay dead in the next series and im still waiting on Oz to return.

Anyways enough rambling....you can obviously see how tragic i am with Angel and Buffy How will i cope until it returns.....well Dawsons starts tomorrow

LOVE SKIP! How cool is he? From the very first episode he was in (the one where Angel freed that evil guy from the firey prison cell in hell) I can't stop laughing!

Angel was great! Had to freeze frame the vid when he was sinking to the bottom of the ocean. His face is just so....I don't know, but it really got to me!

Okay, confession.......so nearly cried when Gru left. My man gave me crap because I kept yelling at Cordelia to stop him! NOT HAPPY CORDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
