A new series begins at 8:00pm tonight on ABC.

If it is anywhere as good as the original one it will be hilarious.
-Features a grou[p of aborigines travelling the outback in cars which are slowly falling apart. the methods they use to keep the cars going are downright ingenious.

If I had to be marooned in the outback I'd much prefer a few of these guys to help me than all the SAS's in the world combined.

First one was brilliant, hope this one is too !

I liked the washing machine detergent makes great brake fluid bit.

... or the gravity-feed fuel line diverted through the windscreen washer bottle (when yer fuel pump dies)

watch it - its more than a car maintenance show - much more

anyway 2 stories

1. Almost got killed one day driving out of Tennant Creek at night by a "ghost car" with no doors and no lights doing about 120....just wizzed right by and scared the ***** out of me !

2. I once fixed my old HB Torana using a lemonade can. The outside of some bearings in the alternator had worn so I just cut a strip off the old can...wrapped in around and bung her back in....good as gold !!!!Sort if improvized gasket.
