Hey folks. I am a 4th year student at the Uni of Tas and part of my assessment this term is to "Prepare a written business plan of about 2,500 words in length to establish an innovative business venture or apply ICT (Information Communications Technology) to an existing business with the view of securing financial backing."
Now, I reckon I'm gonna be ok with a 2,500 word report, in fact I reckon I'm gonna be ok with most of this thing, it's just that I'm having trouble coming up with my idea!!! So I've come here with my tail between my legs hoping to get some creative ideas from you guys.
First of all I need to point out that I'm really only interested in the first bit ("establish an innovative business venture"), because it will mark better. I will only go for the 2nd option as an act of desperation!
Basically some of the pointers that I've got from the lecturer so far have been that it should be something to do with e-business, and something that there isn't a definable market for yet. It doesn't need to be a complex idea, and it can just be something that annoys you. Doesn't necessarily need to be a new technology either - it can just be a new way of using existing technology.
So yeah if anything springs to mind please please please let me know (feel free to PM or e-mail me if you want to) - even the most silliest idea in the world is going to be better than what I've come up with so far! And it may help me or somebody else come up with an even better idea. Money isn't an issue here either - we've been told to worry about the costs last
