allright, basically i can program good in VB6 but haven't really bothered to learn C#.net just yet because its too much effort at the moment.
Anyways, tomorrow we have an in-class assessment to show how well we can program in C#.
The question sheet we've got is:
Implement the follwoing as a working C# program.
Present a screen which asks a user for a user name and a password, once the user has entered information into both text boxes the Ok button will become visible - if eitehr text box is empty the Ok button is invisible. When the OK button is presed the login screen should disappear and be replaced with a second screeen showing the user name entered. You don't have to worry about veriffying the correctness of any entry - apart from its existence.
Marks will be awarded on the following:
a) The correct appearance and disappearance of the Ok button (2 marks)
b) The correct closing of the first screen (4 marks)
c) The correct passing of information between the screens (2 marks)
d) The correct opeining of the second screen (2 marks)
e) Good coding practices
f) Neat screen design
g) Instrinsic Documentation
Now, i can do the first bit, but i can't do b, c or d yet, while e, f and g are givens.
Its pretty simple, but when i'ev never programmed before in this language (well not really) it isn't that easy. If it was VB6 i wouldn't have a problem but thats pretty old programming language and i just haven't bothered to keep up to date lately.
