He hasn't had a pre-season, yet is showing great form even when the team isn't playing well. Another great performance on the weekend as stand in captain.

Any doubts about our next captain after Neitz will be put to rest by the seasons end as Bruce will have stamped himself as a star and a leader.

If he can keep his workrate up over the season I will agree. Confidence in his body seems to be doing him wonders.

If anything, he'd be up there with Brownlow votes, especially after the Adelaide, Sydney and Kangaroos games...He's so due for it, he's taken a massive step up

Yep, i agree, has stepped up in a big way.

Rex Hunt said in that Main Game thing in the Sun for round 1 that bruce would announce himself as a star of the game this year, i thought he was over rating him a bit, but if he keeps this up.He has gone in alot harder than previous years. Also, what a steal he has been at about pick 70 in the 99 draft
