Cameron Ling was injured in the last game of 2002 and really shouldn't have played. I would imagine he'd get the important job to run with Shane Crawford this Sunday, a match-up which could decide the outcome of the game.

Its not the amount he gets. Its what he does with them that counts.

Thanks guys... very helpful all of you.
And I agree with your quote above JubJub, but for the reason I needed to know, the amount is ALL important!!
Sportsbet is offering good odds for Crawford having more possessions than Ling.
Crawford to have more possies: $2.05
Ling to have more possies: $1.75.

I would of thought Crawf would of started favourite

from what i've learnt, never bet on footy.

As for those odds, Lings got the better average...but i would have thought Crawf too.

Sorry all, couldn't help myself.

I'm been a huge supporter of Cam all year, but after seeing him miss stationary handball targets no more then 2 metres away, i couldn't help but criticise him.

The likes of Corey and Enright need to pull their fingers out and take their share of the ball winning load so that Cam and his injured ankle aren't required to get the pill 30 times.

Usually i'd agree (given Shane usually tears us a new arseh*le). However with Hawthorn's loose midfield, and Cam's ball winning ability, 30-35 touches isn't out of the question.

I've no doubt Crawford will be more effective, but Cam will get the ball more.
