Nope, can't say I've heard that one. But logic tells me that Schwabbie is well and truly staying put.
Lets look at what he's done...
He's turned a club that was a financial basket case in 2001 into a profit in 2003. He's led some seriously good recruiting work, and resigning work. The club is enjoying it's most successful year on and off the field.
Unless he's unhappy or there is some serious personal differences in the Freo heirachy, I can't see him going anywhere in the near future.

Done a marvelous job. I can't see him being replaced unless he wants out.

My understanding from people close to the running of the Freo Footy Club, they seem to be very happy with Cameron and the team (on and off the field) he has put together.
The only mutterings of discontent would be heard from George Grisleguts and Bloodnut Hardie, as they are the only people who know what the Freo Footy Club needs.
Seriously Cameron could move on when he feels his job is done, but I feel he will stay around a little while to taste the fruits of his groups work.

Yakuza I know your a journo trying find out something , you dont post here regularly at all but when you do its a quality post & you dont crap on about it . For your Info , I have heard something - dont know if its true or anything , But aint saying nothing till its concrete.
IMO He's done a good job , I have met him once when I was sitting in a corporate box & he addresses us whilst we ate , & he seemed to be a nervous fella on that day . time will tell if what I heard is true .

No I am not a journo Hitman in fact dont have much time for them particularly those in WA ,with a couple of exceptions. The rumour I heard is to do with a certain person in a very high place not being impressed with some of the mistakes he has made eg., salary cap blunders on which he has previous form.
I guess time will tell.

What blunders has he made ??? Can he be held 100% responsible for the Fabian Francis debacle ?? I think not. I do not blame him at all . & the certain Rick Hart is pretty happy with him aswell - I am not saying no one is indespensible , but unless some with a bigger & better profile who is in the know with Freo Footy & good mates with Rick Hart , like whats his name who is the Boss of Australian operations of British airways - who knows
He can be held responsible for Francis debacle and a few others and the certain person is not Rick Hart nor the former Board Member Rod Eddington. As I said, we'll just have to wait and see.

All CEO's make stuff up's, but generally as long as the ship is still level and floating, they get a slap on the wrist and get on with their job. I am prepared to save Cameron in the Freo job is in the position of having more ticks than crosses.
If we booted out any person for making an error or two, you'd have people like Peter Bell playing WAFL due to a poor half of footy. We move on.

Demetriou can't sack Schwab. FFC may be a creature of the AFL, but WAFC own FFC and they do the hiring and firing.

What has he done too good a job and Freo look like being a power for the next 8-10 years? Can't have that can we? Stuff's up Ed plans eh. Who is higher up then him? lol
He seems to be doing a pretty good job at the moment, although his track record isn't too good...
I wonder whether he is an example of someone getting to the top too soon and too young ???? I would certainly imagine that he has learned heaps from his previous attempts so that may be the case..
Perhaps a good apprenticeship isn't so bad after all.
Anyway, he's doing OK NOW so good luck to him.

For a person who knew nothing & started asking questions of the deal , within a day your telling me who the certain people are or are not. Yakuza , if your not a journo then your very well into the know - If you got something to say & not here just PM me.
& also , how on earth can he be responsible for the Francis Fiasco ??? He was not in charge of the salary cap when it became too much for the then board to handle . When was Freo actually axed from the draft ??? IMO The AFL should rot in hell for what they did. If they were gonna punish Freo it shouldve been right at the very end of the seaon so the football departments knew what was exactly going on .
