I don't think you can delist him.Don't you have to keep interstate players for 2 years, or is that just interstate rookies ?

Isn't the rule that draftees must spend at least 2 years on the list?

I haven't seen a huge amount of him, but I thought that he would have come on more than he has, considering he showed a lot in the Wizard Cup game against Port. He has just got over fever apparently, but probably isn't 100% as it is a debilitating illness.

Too early to write him off though.

It might be all draftees.I think interestate Rookies have to be kept for 2 years,but the others can be delisted after 1.
We delisted Travis Jorgenson after 1 year.

No idea, depends on how badly Geelong needed him - I'd suspect 1 year though... but don't take my word for it.

I saw three quarters of the match on Saturday ( first and last for the year) and was disapointed with Thurley.
I've never seen anybody loose thier footing as much as he did. Spent more time on the groung than reece shaw did on the bench monday.
Am also worried about ken Hinkleys comments about S Jonson being brought up this week. Poor second efforts still. Looks disinterested.
I was deep up the hickey end so could have missed a bit.

Is he disinterested because he thinks he is too good?? touch of arrogance maybe. The fact he kicked 6 against them last time would laso be a main reason in having him in line for a call up

James Kelly had the same problem in 2003. It just took a while for him to grow up a little, when he did, the footy again became his primary focus in life.

Oh, and draftees can be traded after one year - just they have to have a 2 year contract. So it's a little difficult to trade them, 'cos you have to terminate the contract, and the payment for taht is included in the TPP, but they can still go.
Port Adelaide traded Barry Brooks after one year, and JUBJUB mentioned Travis Jorgenstern... so there I guess is evidence enough to support that.

I can't wait until it's not a habit to support everything I say with evidence.
