..........a good spot to stay in Cat town

Tommy the Cat is about to return to Cat town after 17 years absence, for a wedding in November. Shame its not during the footy season, haven't seen the boys live since 1990 but thats what happens when you live 2,000 ks away.

The misses has been looking up motels and apartments without success.

The wishlist would be a 5 star apartment overlooking Corio Bay, but they only seems to be 3 or 4 star unless we look at the old Geelong International which apparently is now called the Mecure, but they are motel rooms rather than apartments.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Quest apartments are pretty good. I think they're located on the Esplanade, and you do get a view of the bay.

I can second that

Just don't plan on having any partys or making any noise much louder than a freaken mouse. We had some old bat tell us off.. (9pm on a Saturday night mind you )

Admiralty apartments in Mckillop street are pretty good. Stones throw from skilled to!

Mercure's not bad.

Ten min walk max from Skilled Stadium. You can even clearly see the illuminated signage from the Doug Wade stand.

last time I was at Skilled, it was Kardinya Park and the hot dogs on the hill were the worst in the world
