As you may be aware there is a Road Trip to Canberra for the Round 17 game against the Kangaroos being planned. If you are still interested please reply here or at the Cats Claw Messageboard. We need about 30 people for it to go ahead and have about 20 at the moment.
If you have just found out about it you can still register your interest. Numbers need to be finalised within the next few months.

For more info on the trip click the link.

I am a 'maybe' at this stage.

Same here-- but I actually have a blueprint of a plan in my head to coordinate this.

It's OK-- at one time, I once worked as a party planner for a catering company back home, so I'd like to think that I've got every detail covered.

I think my idea is something that would have to be OK'd by Bluey before I publish any details on these boards-- but perhaps I should discuss this with Darren on MSN before approaching any moderator or administrator with my ideas. :)

Cheers,
William

What are you talking about you_idiot?

Just something I had in mind-- but after seeing the thread on the "Cats Claw" site last night, I can see you beat me to it. :D

Pretty much the same thing I wanted to talk to you about, and how to keep costs down, but I've seen that your plan there accomplishes everything that I would have had concerns about. Well done... :)

As for the trip itself, you can put Jen and I down as "definite maybe's" at this point. It's a ways off yet, and as much as we'd like to commit to it right now, we're going to have to wait and see how some other things go (such as with the baby, for instance).

Cheers,
William

Catman and LozNger6 have it all under control and with Catman in charge, the light beer is sure to be flowing!! LOL!! :D;)

Light beer?? LIGHT BEER???

You know, my friend, we Americans have an expression... drinking light beer is like making love on a rowboat, because it's f*cking close to water!!

Sounds like I'll have to bring my own supply of the good stuff... that is, if Jen will let me!! :D

Cheers,
William

Don't look at me mate, I drink Boags Premium when it comes to beer... only the good stuff for me!! :D

All I have done is type a few posts, Loz has done all the work. We have tried to make it as cheap as possible, which I think she has managed to do.

ScouseCat, can you imagine the beer on tap in Canberra? Talk about crap. Tooheys, yuck. :D

With me in charge of the night out (apparently) the Bourbon will be flowing thick and fast!

No, Darren, it's all good, my friend.. SP is spot-on about American beers... they are crap.

Even when I was back home, I would hardly ever touch the stuff.

See my comment above-- I know it's an old joke, but there is a shadow of truth in it. :D

Quite frankly, I'll drink tons of VB before I ever touch another Budweiser. But if Samuel Adams is ever available here, I'll take it-- best American lager in a weak field.

Cheers,
William

VB??? I only drink that if there's no Boags Premium available when I feel like drinking beer. :D
