What are peoples thoughts on him?

For me, I love him. He's my favourite artist and I just love and adore him and his music.

I love everything up until Clear Spot. Don't like his other albums much. The Grow Fins Rarities box set is well worth checking out for those not familiar with his work.

Zappa is my favourite, and Muffin Man my favourite song. Plenty of Beefheart on that one.

Yeah I saw that but it was a R.I.P thread.

Him having passed away still makes me sad to this day.
