Captain Selection: Round 14

Last week Pav was an obvious choice and delivered accordingly. Although i chose Petrie as captain (Jokes), round 14 with Bartel's mystery injury might see some a little confused with captain selection.

Who to pick?

I've had Kornes since I got him, but I'm not so sure I'll put him captain again this week. He did an excellent job on Black on Sat night, so maybe he'll go back to his tagging role a couple of seasons ago and his stats will suffer? I hope not...

With cross out, Gia seems to be getting more time in midfield...which is great..27 possies and 3 goals, that's wat i have been waiting for all year from Gia..GUN!!

Cox, Judd, Embley, Priddis would be the best choices imo. If Bartel doesn't play I'll probably go with Cox.

Idk who im gona choose this week but prolly wont stick with Bartel because of his injury may be a late change even if hes listed or have less game time due to his injury.

But i hav Pav, Hird, Shaw, J Carr, Kirk and Mitchell who could possibly be a captain choice. How ever i dont think Pav would get a huge score against the Swans and with Shaws recent performance (6 weeks) i cant be sure whether hell score high. Atm im favouring Mitchell and Kirk. Kirk seems to hit some DT form and score above 110 for the last 4 weeks but had a inconsistent time before that and Hirds been very inconsistent aswell with a low time score 2 weeks ago in 50's and not getting 100+ enough and Mitchel can get big scores but also has got a 48, 64 and a few 70's and 80's but has broken 110 5 times and 100 6 times. Carr is just plain to inconsistent and low scoring breaking 100 mark only twice.

Pav - no, he's playing at the SCG
BJ - yes, he's in for a big one
Dal Santo - no.

I'll talk to my opponent on Friday and pick whoever they do. Its unlikely they'll select somebody I don't have. The rest of my team should beat them, so I'd like to take the captain out of the picture.

milburn as captain....thats a really amature choice!! fair enough he is consistently in the 80's, but you want your captain to get 100+ and milburn just doesnt get very high scores!!

he is a more than valuable player because he is consistent and reliable, but he is not captain material!!

Jimmy will probably be underdone if he plays, so will probably change my captain for the first time this year. How do you do that again?

Thinking reliable options of Chappy, BJ or even Lappin.

There are heaps of better options is all.

Im going with either Chad Cornes, Heater or BJ. Maybe Bartel, but Im not sure I want to take the risk of him being a late withdrawal.
