Most guys here will say McLean and I tend to agree. Is in the game more than Bruce and is more consistant. Can turn a game from the middle while Bruce's dominating games are either as a tagger or a floating forward.

2 years ago I was saying Brucey. But with the emergance of Brocky, he would be my pick. If he has a better year this year, then 2008 he will be given the job.

bruce

the end.

I obviously don't know what he is like with the other players, but from listening to him in interviews I get the distinct impression that Bruce is too shy and reserved to lead from the front. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I reckon Brock Mclean would make a great captain for the Dees in a few years time

If Bruce has a completely jaw droppingly good season and gets some consistency and wins some games off his own boot, I reckon it could add to his credentials but certainly either him or Brock.

Smoky Brent Moloney given his love affair with the club. But then again Brock is obsessed with the club so in any case, we're in good hands

I think Brock is still way too young for the captaincy.

I've said Bruce for about two years now and that opinion hasn't changed.

Neitz still has a bit left in the tank. We'll see how he goes in 2007 and then see if he can continue as captain in 2008.

i was interested to read the brisbane courier mail on saturday. it included a push for marc murphy to captain carlton this year! surely if brock lacks the years and experience, then murphy has no chance? personally, i think it should be brock next year.

BROCK MCLEAN

young, strong and has the power to change a game...
definately premiership captain material
