Calling all Blue supporters! We've coped a lot of grief over the summer months, so I thought it time to look back at some of the great marks and goals throughout the ages. What do you think takes the cake?

Perhaps there are a few that are particulary dear to your Carlton heart, but aren't necessarily the 'best of the best'. Let me know gang, should make for some quality reading!!!

Ah yes, a couple of bounces and even a bit of a swerve ... truly a sight to behold. I still laugh when I see that one. Fantastic moment.

The last quarter goal to Sticks in the 87 GF when he took the ball off the Dominators fingertips straight after a centre bounce and slammed it through for what was really the sealer. He also kicked a beauty against St Kilda with a checkside on the run to give us some breathing space in a thriller. Bradley did the same against the West Coasters though the margin wasn't as close. Earl Spalding had a weaving run along the 50 metre line before slamming one through against the Pies in the Centenary match I believe.

The after the siren goal against North, round 22 1987 was excitement plus.

Goal.......Bosustow against Geelong after he smothered Ian Nankervis's kick in the Forward pocket ...81 finals I think

Mark......Lappin against essendon (Rd 1 2001 I think) at MCG in the Square

Geez, the 95 GF. Endless highlights.

Spalding goaled after smothering a Riccardi kick. Harry received a handball over the top before doing his trademark fist pumping. Two Dean smothers led to goals by Sticks and Diesel, the latter juggling the ball on the line with close attention from Colbert I think and pulling free to snap one over his shoulder. Diesel also had that intercept mark in front of Handley leading to another goal.

A bit of revision later and that Spalding smother and goal has got to be close to my favourite goal.

Mark - Silvagni's against collingwood, one of the best of all time.

Will never forget his smother against the Western Bulldogs in the goal square either.

Best goal in a Carlton game was at Footy Park when Jars banged it home from 50 metres out on the boundary line.:D

Goals - Bosustow VFL Park v Geelong
Bradley Optus Oval v WCE
Whitnall MCG v Essendon '99 Prelim
Ratten Football Park v Crows
(circa '98, left foot snap from "the dead pocket")

Marks - Jezza v Collingwood
SOS v Collingwood
Lappin v Essendon
(Dean Wallis 99 Prelim Final - great mark
even better baulk around the Dog)

Well I haven't been around as long as you guys, hehehe! But my fav mark would have to be one from Kouta in, ahh I think it was 1994, or 95... Can't remember much else.

But my fav tackle is the one in the 99 where Fraser Brown more or less one the game for us against Essendon! Thats has been my favourite game to, even though I wasn't actually there!

If memory serves me correct .... wasn't that his first game for Carlton? Made an instant cult hero out of himself.
