we need to keep our core group of young players together and keep adding talent add some clever recruiting and the formula can be there for success.

2. Whitnall has signed for less money than he could have got elsewhere. Lappin should follow his lead and sign for two more years.

3. A fit Fevola. IF Fev fires (say 70-80 goals) finals next year are realistic.

We just need to settle the backline.

I agree ..but we also are short in the rucking department..in todays game generally if you lose the hitouts, you lose the game

as unfortunate as this sounds, finals in 2006 will set us back more than it will propell us fwd

we have a good base of talent but most of this talent is unproven at the moment
we need to have a better season in 2006, but we still need another dose of early picks to increase our talent pool

we won't see the very best of our players until the reach 24-26 onwards

as mentioned our backline and ruck area are our weakest area's. KPP and ruckmen take longer to develop than onballers
things can change pretty quickly in footy but we are still a fair way off finals.
