I've been pleased to see some questions about the freo board being mentioned in the press. In the "worst australian" today Alan Carpenter (the MP) said that there should be some publicly elected reps on the WAFC board, and some members elected reps on both the dockers and eagles boards.
What a bloody good idea! I just hope there is enough groudswell of agreement to make something like this happen. Can you imagine the members actually having some input into how the club is run! I reckon if it takes 6 or more losses to force this change it will be worth it.
Next thing you know we might be playing the odd game at Freo Oval - Now that my friends would be grand!
