Carlton has elevated rookie Andrew Carrazzo to the senior list. Carrazzo becomes the third Carlton rookie this season to be upgraded to the senior list. Carrazzo joins Adam Bentick and Setanta O’hAilpin as rookies to be elevated this year.
Carrazzo replaces Karl Norman who has been placed on the long-term injury list after he broke his hand in Carlton’s Round 17 clash against Geelong.
Carrazzo was recruited from the Oakleigh Under-18’s and spent two seasons on Geelong’s rookie list before being recruited to Carlton in last year's rookie draft. At the Cats Carrazzo won the club's VFL Best and Fairest and was also selected in the 2003 VFL team of the Year.
Carrazzo 20, 182cm and 86kg has been very impressive for Carlton’s VFL affiliate club the Northern Bullants this season.
If selected for this weekend’s match against Essendon, he will wear the number 44 guernsey and become the 16th player to debut for the Blues this year.
