Scoullar the dogs are pretty much expecting to leave. NSW boy with his first child born wants to go home to family same with Tyson hay.

But the dogs are still trying to re-sign Hay for next year.

As for Luke Mc cabe well he is coming back to live in SA and work on his parents farm in Hamley Bridge. The Dogs are the only club within a 30 - 40 minute drive and he is an x-CDFC player so I reckon you should be pretty confident with him.

Vardy well I havent heard whether he is coming back to SA or not. But if he is I would guarantee he would play for the doggies.

To end all speculation - announced at last nights best and fairest count-
Scoullar, Hay, Hopwood, Gowans x 2 all announced they are staying for 2005 with CDFC.

Coulter is a now former CDFC player. Won a few reserves premierships. Will be a handy player for North. Wouldnt/Couldnt cement a spot in CDFC league team, so joins the growing list of players from the dogs that head to North. Someone correct me if i am wrong, but i think he won the reserves magarey in 2002.

if i remember right, he was having a fair year in 2003 before having his jaw broken, and after that, in 2004, struggled. Unfortunate for the fella, wouldnt mind him at Sturt. Heard also that Krieg and Switala are off to, Krieg to North and Switala somewhere?

yes he was having a good year until the jaw incident.
krieg isnt going anywhere. switala i havent heard...but i would think he would stay on at the dogs. he went to the best and fairest, if thats any indication of his plans??!! (coulter didnt go to b&f)

Pity about coulter, but he'll be good for North.
I hope Swooper stays with the Dogs, but who could blame him if he didn't.
He spent a lot of time with Rick MacGowan, now at north, on the night of the gf.

Big signings those other five!

Was talking to a former CDFC player on Saturday at our local cricket match and he said "who is going to beat Centrals next year?" Anyone got any comments?

I do think the dogs will be just as good and it will be interesting who they lose or sign to try and improve their squad, thomas will be better next year and young players have another preseason to get bigger and put pressure on the more experiences guys....they will again start favourites for sure, but its a new year and other clubs will have that desire to go one better than them and its up to centrals to face up to the challenges that other clubs set them. From the info i have read on footysa and from my own opinions i think the clubs to struggle again this year will be port norwood south and glenelg and the main challengers again will be eagles north sturt and west to round out the 5, but these predictions could change after the drafts are over and clubs begin to finalise their lists....i for one cant wait as the dogs dominance cant go on forever.....can it?

Who did he play for in EFL???????

I expect the doggies to win there 3rd in a row (5th in 6yrs) or i will be very dissapointed in the team. Go the pies in 2006 though :D

Disappointed in the team? They've won four of the past five!
I haven't quite had my fill of flags after all those years of being bagged, but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if the boys gave their best and didn't win it.

Any other SANFL news? All we're hearing is what's happening at the Ponderosa....

You've beaten who?

Port Adelaide challenged Centrals last season with a cr@p side and no heart. I'm expecting a major improvement next season to get back to where we belong. Forget 3 in a row. Beat Port in a Grand Final, then you'll have really achieved something.

We would, but you have to make it to a GF first!
