Last night I went down to Traeger Park in Alice Springs to watch the Central Australian redtails play Waratahs in their first of 8 games in the AFLNT this season to see if they are competitive and financial.
Plenty of hype around Town about the redtails and they do have some big sponsors.They will need to because the Waratahs blokes reckoned it was just shy of $30k to get down here along with accomadation.
They have the next 7 games in Darwin.
Redtails started well and were kicking goals from all angles. Wheras Waratahs missed some easy oppurtunities and kept getting points. At the end of the evening Waratahs appeared much fitter than their Southern counterparts and ran over them in the last few minutes to score a great victory.
