Out : Fletcher, Ryder, Dempsey (all injured)
In : T Slattery, Hooker, Jetta

T Slattery to take Dempsey's role. Hooker to give TBC a chop out and pinch hit down back if necassary. Jetta as a pace option for Subiaco.

All changes assuming Winders and Lloyd don't come up.

Would we consider bringing both Lucas and Hooker in? I can't see Belly playing more then 60% of the game to have any effect or run with the opposition effectively. If we have a third ruckman (eg Lucas) He could do the duties in the forward 50 and give the other two more of a break.
This is a huge concern for us and if it isn't thought out then it'll cost us the game.

Knights was saying in the press conference that Winders and Lloyd will both come into selection mix against Freo. He said Winders was extremely close to playing against the Saints, so he should be available, and Lloydy was recovering quite well :D

depending on Stantons injury, he may be an out too.

agree with hooker, he has to be in.. would imagine houli would come in too if he is fit. maybe reimers too.

Out : Fletcher, Ryder, Dempsey (inj.)
In : Hooker, Daniher, T Slattery (if Winderlich doesn't come up)

Hooker to play as 2nd ruckman, Daniher to share CHF with Monfries/McPhee; Hurley playing CHB, Tyson to replace Dempsey in the back half.

Would like to know (in more detail) how the listed players went at Bendigo, though.

I would have thought that the selection committee would bring Skipworth if he was actually Bendigo's best. Maybe play him off half-back?

Surely Hocking has to come straight back in? Not sure how he played at Bendigo but he is in the bests and he can play half back.

Would generally agree but you need to pick a horses for courses side for Subiaco more than any other ground.

I dare say the MC would have learnt their lesson from 2 weeks ago when the side was far too top heavy.

This looks pretty goood to me

In - Daniher, Hocking, T.Slattery, Winderlich.
Out - Fletcher, Dempsey Ryder, Stanton.

Tyson has been in Bendigo's best for a while now so he deserves a call up. Daniher can play forward or back & help Tom in the ruck.

Out: Fletcher, Dempsey, Ryder, Davey.
In: Winderlich, Hocking, Hooker, Riemers.

Davey did apply decent pressure at times, but he is still preforming well below what is required and Riemers if fit would provide much more in attack.

Hooker may not come in and someone like NLM may just give TBell a hand in the ruck. Hille is really the only ruckman we have who I can see as being a real contender against Sandilands, so whoever goes up against him will mainly be attempting to hamper his delivery directly to his team. If this is the case and Lloyd is fit, then he may come in instead and slot back in playing a floating CHF roll with McPhee and Hurley giving him a hand.

Would be happy with that.

Only I would switch Daniher and Hurley. Daniher really likes to take on his opponent and l think thats important for our team!

It creates enthusiasm amongst the side and l think it forces the players up the field to continue to provide a target, which is important on Subiaco.

Reimers should be fit.

Dropping Quinn? I dunno, did some good things vs. the saints and if you keep dropping/promoting him he'll get bugger consistency into his game.

Winderlich/Hocking seem like automatic selections for me. Pacey attacking midfielder + slower, harder more defensive midfielder ... good balance. We are losing a ruckman, a FB and a HB flanker though. Hocking may only be able to play down back.

Hooker should definitely come in as a 2nd ruckman plus KP backman to allow Hurley to go up forward. That being said, Freo don't exactly have a tall forward line if they have Tarrant down back and Pavlich rotating between the forward and midfield.

Hmmm it is a tough one...

Out: Fletcher, Ryder, Dempsey
In: Hooker, Hocking, Reimers/Winderlich if ready..

If Stanton isn't 100%, maybe bring in Winderlich to replace him. (Even if it hurts my Supercaoch side).

Hooker is a must as I believe as we will need someone to play down back and relieve Bellchambers in the ruck.

Hocking would be great to run with Pavlich.

What do people think about bringing in Lucas to play in defense and spend a little time in the ruck?

Also, although it certainly sounds like dirty tactics, i think it is definately a good idea to have a 3rd man up in ruck contests to crash into Sandilands, and make him earn his hitouts... We can not afford to let him dominate.

Dunno about Lloyd, I was sitting in aisle 8 (where Knights & co. go up and down) and Lloyd went past, still wearing runners, compared to Winderlich for example who had on casual leather jobs alogn with everyone else.

It might be nothing, but if he is still having to wear soft shoes boots would be unlikely unless he improves this week.

Out: Ryder, Fletcher, Dempsey, Stanton (all injured)
In: Hooker, Hocking, Daniher, Winderlich

B: H. Slattery, Pears, Atkinson
HB: McPhee, Hurley, Lovett-Murray
C: Lovett, Watson, Dyson
HF: Monfries, Daniher, Winderlich
F: Davey, Neagle, Quinn
R: Bellchambers, Hocking, Prismall
Int: McVeigh, Welsh, Lonergan, Hooker
Emerg: Jetta, Skipworth, T. Slattery

Out: Ryder, Dempsey, Fletcher (all inj)
In: Hooker, T.Slattery, Lloyd/Lucas (whoever is fit)

Hooker to replace ryder, same for slattery to dempsey and hopefully one of lucas or lloyd to replace hurley in the foward line since hurley is going down back to cover fletcher.
