Best case scenario is we belt them by 10 goals making them 0 and 4 and Voss gets sacked. Head scratching selection meeting coming up. Framps is a must, Checkers back too, it's out of Cox or Membrey for the chop. The tag team of Cox and DC is potent against 1 ruck teams like Carlscum. TDK will be outworked. But I like Membrey. Good problem to have. Carltons longbombs to no one gameplan favours tall interceptors. If Crisp misses then Ed Allan or Hosk.

Bloody awful for Reef and the last thing he and we need as it's one area of the ground we don't have much proven depth in (including Reef).

Frampton probably the next in line and he comes in to play as a blue collar option with the fancier stuff left to Howe and Moore.

Hopefully a few decent KPD prospects can emerge at state league level prior to the MSD.

I like when big bad Billy plays. Though not at the expense of Reef going down.

My heart goes out to Reef. He was just starting to finally cement a spot. And all that work over summer. Footy can be so cruel.

I’m ok with Billy as a regular when we can fit him in the side. He is serviceable as a ruck back up. He’s also decently agile for a big bloke. He can take a tall forward in a lock down role and free up Howe a little more.

Tragic for Reef on a personal level. As a club, I think we’ll be ok covering him.

Crisp isn’t getting suspended.

Last night I was feeling sick to the stomach about it and very doom and gloom. During the game is always more emotional.

Now watching again this morning, he should be ok. It doesn’t look as bad as I first thought.

A fine perhaps but should not be a suspension. And if they do try and suspend him, because you never know how these clowns will rule anything, absolutely it would need to be challenged and appealed.

Unofficially, Crispy has already smashed Stynes record in my book, based on the fact Crisp plays in the era of protecting the head. Concussion protocols and the handing out of suspensions like candy on Halloween. Stynes era, you generally were suspended for something a fair bit more serious.

Can’t fit WHE in but if Crisp does actually get suspended (he shouldn’t), then I’d bring the hyphen in. Might be a few magnets shuffled around.

Anyway whatever we do, we must win! Deliver a 0-4 start to the filth. Prefer to smash them but 1 point would be nice too.

I don’t think people forget that he was recruited as a defender I think they just prefer him as a forward because he’s a damn good one. Now is the time for that move though, IMO.

I love the potential of what the MMM’s can do, but we need a full season solution to the anchor KPD role and it isn’t Frampton. Mihocek’s body takes a battering week to week as a forward so perhaps it’s time to change things up in a bid to help both him and the team.

Otherwise I don’t know what we do to solve that problem because Frampton isn’t him and Dean is even less likely…

Geez i hope Ryan or Dimattia play well today in the VFL, I guess they have a shot next week too. Same with Frampton and Dean. We can't go to WHE this early in the season, need to give another key defender a go.

I'd be looking to move Jaicos back to a wing or high half forward and have one of the above move to half back. Jaicos is still getting ball, but his defensive efforts are just bad. Maybe he learns it in time. But surely Markov, Dimattia or Ryan would add some speed down back. WHE could perform this role as well.

At the game last night, we looked out coached or out structured around the ground. Hoping Fly takes the break to work out why we have an opposition kick out go to an unmarked defender running by themselves outside our 50.

If we are willing to free up space in our fwd line by giving that kick, maybe have more coverage over the back of this? To my eye when this occurred they were kicking to one on one's on the wing in space.

I actually don't mind Frampton as a key back he will have plenty of exposure over the next few months to make that position his own, if Frampton played last night I don't think Darcy would of looked so dominant he's not a bad 1 on 1 lock down defender, His inclusion will free Moore up abit I think.. this definately opens up a spot for us to scope the state comps for a mature Key intercept defender, surely there's some gems out their and we will have a few months to identify which one to pick for the mid season draft.
My early selection guess would be
In Frampton,Checkers
Out McInnes,Cox
Hoskin Elliot in the mix depends on matchups
