what changes will we have this week V the old enemy?

walker and chambers in to add pace so we can exploit the pies.

wiggins and simpson to miss.

worried that Tarrant will show up to play on saturday- hard to match up on him if on song.

Hopefully Livo can play this week to take Rocca.

Walker and Chambers in. I would think that maybe Houlihan or Sporn (due to possible niggling injuries) might be left out, along with Simpson. I thought the Wiggler showed a bit on Friday night so I hope he gets a game.

IN: Livo, Chambers, Walker
OUT: Simpson, Houlihan, Sporn

Out: Prendergast

what's wrong with Prender? Injured? He'd be stiff to be omitted. Has done two brilliant tagging jobs so far this year. Mark McVeigh hardly saw it on Friday night due to Prender. Ease up on him, I reckon.

You'd have to be stupid to drop Norman. Fair enough he didnt play the greatest game on Friday night, but he is the only player that has the pace, height and defensive skills to go with Tarrant. Can't see him being dropped.

Norman deserves to be dropped. He holds back, doesn't put 100% in, plays in a lazy manner and would get absolutely smashed by Tarrent if he played next weekend the same way he played against Essendon. I'd rather have Wiggins in the side, a guy who gives his all to his team mates and for his club, then have a far more talented player like Norman in the side who just can't be bothered to do the 1 percenters we need to win games. Leave him in the Bullants until he decides whether he really wants to be a footballer or not.

As i've said on a few occasions i don't think Norman can play a key position down back at the moment. So if he's in the side to take Tarrant then i think we're in trouble. I'd say Livo in for Norman.

I'd have thought Walker would be in as well as Chambers but i'm not sure who in place of. Probably Simpson as he would benefit from full games in the VFL, but I'm not sure who else you would want to drop, i think it would come down to Sporn or Wiggins and given the noted absence of Bannister, Wiggins seems the most likely, though i'd like to see him in there. Chambers may be given a game for the Bullants after his lay off, his fitness would have suffered with a calf injury.

I think Prenda is a good chance to run with Rocca, given that Rocca will probably have to spend time in the ruck. Prenda can certainly match him around for fitness and possibly run him around a bit. A. Rocca doesn't have the biggest tank of petrol going round.

Agreed. Prenda showed what he could do as a tagging ruckman against Hawthorn last year. Would be a monty for this role.

For what's it worth, my changes would be

In - Livo, Walker, Chambers (If fit)
Out - Simpson, Sporn, Houlihan

I'd prefer the changes to be minimal.

Chambers needs to be added into the side, so drop Simpson and Livo needs to come back in. Who for? Not Norman, I actually thought he played alright Friday night.

If it wasn't for him we would not of won... a big statement I know. I watched the replay and when Matthew Lappin had the ball in the last quarter and delivered to Fevola on his own he (Lappin) didn't actually see him there. Norman was behind Lappo yelling 'kick it to Fev' and pointing. I see that as a 1 percenter. He shows a bit of dash and pace out of defence also. Possible give Houla a rest, looks a bit slow and sore at the moment so bring in Livo for him.

I would drop only Simpson and Houlihan (if injured as suggested)

and pick up Chambers and Livo.

I think the best thing for Walker is to play some games in the 2s and get some consistent ground time and form. Hasn't impressed me this year yet (in the Wiz cup I am referring to).

why would you even contemplate dropping Wiggins ??? he has a dead set go at every contest ...didn't you see the mark he took running back into defence . He is just the kind of player the blues need right now

yeah it was a nice mark, but Chambers and Walker are for more beneficial to the team imo.

With that change it looks like Kouta might play on Rocca with Johnson playing in the centre. Or at the very least this is the insurance policy.
Kouta is too valuable around stoppages and in the centre to tie him up in the backline ..probably digby will get first crack at rocca

I agree, but it is a puzzling inclusion and is proberbly only a just a get out of jail card if Rocca tears up Morrell.

Though i've said in the npast the Prenda was not at KP player, this could be the day he proves the footballing world incorrect. Wouldn't mind letting him have a go at Rocca, particularly if Rocca plays on the ball. Would be very surprised if Rocca plays any more than a half at CHF.

If Rocca is on fire early, swap Prenda with Morrell.

As for Tarrant, the guy is really struggling at the moment with injury and form. I'd leave Norman on him all day.

Can we drop Norman now that Tarrent has thrashed him? Good call mate.

he wasn't robinson crusoe out there today ..he has a few mates who need a spell in the seconds .
One of which was Prendergast who I also wanted to drop.

Next Week
Ins: Livingston, Walker, Longmiur, Bannister, Chambers, Bowyer
Outs: Norman, Prendergast, Davies, Sporn, Wiggins, Johnson

Sounds on the mark to me, however, I think Norman - Prendergast - Davies will get another chance.

Karl did some good things today, accept for the last half...

Livingston will surely be back this week (it feels strange that we are demanding him back, considering this time last year we wanted him delisted).

Walker, Bannister, Bowyer and Chambers I want to see playing in the ones... but they all won't be included this week.
