It was really frustrating yesterday because the forward closest to the ball carrier was putting in effort pretty consistently and we got the giants into difficult situations - but the second, third wave of pressure was a tick slow to arrive. GWS refused to kick long down the line to disadvantage and kept finding a way through in the second half.

Honestly I don't know who you could even blame for the poor pressure, other than all of them.

There was a few times I remember where to many guys would commit to the ball carrier instead of trusting their teammate to pressure/make the tackle and instead of sticking with their opponent to then force them to dump kick or handball to another player under pressure, they effectively ended up giving them a loose man.

I would bring in McKenna to provide some forward pressure. He has speed and strength and knows how to make a decent tackle.
