Pretty obvious that with Elliott sitting the first 20 minutes out and missing training during week that he was under a big injury/ illness cloud

He looked flat the whole night. Still managed to kick the 2 goals. More than McStay, Buller and Membrey combined. I believe Elliott is the only reliable goalkicking, key forward we have, which is a shame considering his age and size we still require him to be our leading goalkicker.
Please for the love of god, get us a goalkicking, big key forward this trade/FA period. I don't want a role playing key forward who will play 2nd ruck and float around the ground. I want a key forward plonked in the goal square who will kick us 50 to 60+ goals a season....

I’d put Long in that too.

For balance i would drop Long and have Josh play full time mid
IQ should be run and gunning off half back to balance the kicking type of Houston

I’d also drop 2 more of that group and pick 2 small forwards with speed and high energy and creativity even if they’re low disposal players
You don’t need big disposal moments from that role, you need moments of brilliance snd high energy.
Hayes, Harrison and Saxena —2 need to be playing.
Obviously Bobby is the one first picked but obviously unavailable

Oh, I'm not impatient. I fully accept that we are starting a rebuild. Key Positions is what we need to address. Oh, for one of the Gold Coast's Key forwards....

I'd like West to come in and play as well. Harrison needs to come in to play Hills role. Anderson needs to be given an opportunity to show what hes got. I think we're too predictable. I say we play twister with each circle representing a position and wherever they end up they play.

I think it was at half-time (IIRC) that Lipinski had a team high 4 tackles and 4 score assists. He is a bit of a quiet achiever and becuase he isn't a huge power like a JDG or a super-human athlete like a Naicos or a penetrating kick like a Dan H, he is underratde and a little maligned.

He's maligned because he can be very soft .. mccrae loves him tho so flogging a dead horse
