Changing from Virgin Mobile to Telstra

Hey Guys,

Just made a contract change from Virgin to Telstra.
They are changing my number across, never dealt with this before so dont know the time it should take to swap across.

I got the new phone and everything at around midday and the new phone is still showing no service and the Virgin Mobile device is still showing bars...

I didnt think it would of taken this long though?

Normally it doesn't take that long. Maybe a few hours...but I'd just leave it over night and if it still isn't working by then contact Telstra.

When I swapped from Vodafone to Telstra it took around two hours but it varies. Virgin could take longer.

Well that's shit. Did they give you an estimated time on when it's expected to be in service?

24hours, which expired yesterday. I'm going to ring them now lol

EDIT: Cheeky little bastards, they are not open Sundays... I hope I get a guy when I call up Monday I am going to abuse there little faces off lol
