After hammering the nail in the Port Adelaide’s coffin Chaplin grabbed his jumper in jubilation and aeroplaned with arms outstretched, across the ground.

“They were winning so I guess he can do what he wants, but I hope he’s enjoying the year that they’re having” Boak said.

A few weeks later and we get the privilege of playing them in an elimination final.

Let's hope for more Chappy celebrations next week, at the Adelaide Oval no less. :thumbsu:

Shows how far we have come.

That comment from Boak was the smart response at the time and we really did look like a team celebrating a pride victory against a side with a bigger picture to look at.

Amazing we are on the same footing given their season has been very good and often on here people lament that we had Dimma when they had Hinkley.

That Carltons shitness hasnt denied us a Melbourne game as we didnt win by enough, I am positive about a game over there.

Imagine Chappy kicking the winner in the last and whipping out the jet celebration around Boak all the way to the centre square

Doing that would probably cause a free against him, letting us go down our end and kick the winner after the siren.

That would be very chaplin-esque

I look forward to it :thumbsu:

At least the crowd will let you know when Chaplin gets a touch.
I thought you guys were happy to see the back of him? Booing would sound like you are a bit offended over it. :)

So nice of Boak to be thinking of us and his ex team mate! I think we are all enjoying our season! Thanks for asking Boaky! ;)

I keep forgetting about the margin, even though I said it myself. I guess with the monumental task of actually winning, there wasn't room in my brain to think about the 9 point difference.

It is funny how things work out. I am looking forward to the game against Port Adelaide. They are probably the best side we could have hoped to play in the finals because they have a similar level of recent finals experience and they are at a similar stage to us as well. It should be a very entertaining game to watch. Boak may be very well wishing he kept his mouth shut if we win.

Tigers supporters are the only supporter base who have any sort of a problem with Travis Boak. Even Crows supporters rarely have a bad word to say about him. The fact that Troy Chaplin was the one guy who managed to drive Travis to one momentary lapse of professionalism in his otherwise unblemished career says a lot more about Chaplin and what his former teammates think of him than it says about Boak.

We wouldn't have a problem with him if he didn't day flog comments like that.

It's obvious you don't see the irony regarding this thread.

See you on Sunday good luck :thumbsu:

'Comment', not comments. You won't find another flog comment made by Travis Boak. In his 8 year career, the only thing that has ever driven him to that point is the floggish way that Troy Chaplin has conducted himself since leaving the Power, both on and off the field.

What has Chaplin done?
