If anyone was planning a trip to Perth to watch a footy game, if you have the cash now & know when you want to go, I suggest you book now.

I have just booked my trip for next Anzac Day & it only cost me $346 return, well below the normal price which is usually over the $600 mark.

You're coming to Victoria for Anzac Day again? Woohoo!! :D :D :D

I'll definately have to try to get over to WA next season - thanks for the tip about the airfares. First weekend in May looks good.;) :D

Who are you flying with mantis? Also was that price for the red eye specials? Sometimes Qantas has a few specials for them. Prices will go down even more if we get a 3rd domestic carrier in the future (Singapore Airlines).

Qantas & I had a choice of times to travel, not just the red eye specials, could pick times morning, afternoon or night, that is why I was so amazed, it was $200 cheaper than my red eye special last year, which I booked 3 months ahead, so it seems the go is to book & pay as early as possible to get the cheapest deals.
