Club History Check Your Drawers - 1995 Round 19 Carlton vs Brisbane

Greetings Bluebaggers,

We are in the final stages of putting together highlights from the 1995 season.

Only trouble is we have next to nothing from Round 19 against Brisbane!

If anyone out there has a VHS or digital copy of this game, please let me know, either in this thread or through a sneaky PM if you're shy.

Hoping to make this year a special celebration of the 95 flag and the more vision we can use the better!


P.S. Also if you have rounds 2, 13, 17 and 18 full games would love those as well. Not as urgent as we have a little bit from each.

Just dug through an old box that hasn't seen the light of day for nearly 30 years and North Prelim and Round 13 v Freo are there plus a season Highlights tape (from 95). 2 more that I'm unsure about but dragging out the old VHS to see if they still work.

EDIT: Holy Crap - This is the VHS recorder I recorded them on in '95, and as an added bonus there was another Highlights tape still in it.

And it WORKS!

Great find!

Very similar to the VHS I use to convert tapes.

Would be interested in the Round 13 game against Fremantle, we only have highlights from that game.

Please send me a PM if willing to convert and donate, or I can pick up and convert it for you.

Would just like to say a big THANKS to the forum community.

Thanks to forum members, 2 of the 5 missing games have been found and will be included in the player and games highlights videos which will be shown on our youtube channels, the Blueseum and possibly CFC website.

Great result!


Often these missing games can be found from people who lived interstate as these missing games tended not to be broadcast in Melbourne and would sometimes just be broadcast in other states. So keep that in mind if you think of not looking through your tapes because you think they will be the same as everyone elses.
