I think we are a chance against Gold Coast just as I thought we were a chance v Fremantle. Both sides have a very young g midfield that can be pushed around. Which is exactly what was happening until Fremantle decided to chuck a bigger body around the ball and have a tighter tag on Cripps in the second half.

How will GC achieve this. Rowell will be head to head with Cripps and he barely gets over him. Anderson will be very outside as usual but needs Rowell feeding him the ball. Anderson is the better kick. And he gets it a lot.

Noble could do with a role off half back as he free wheels off his man a lot. Our small forwards don’t really force defenders to defend so this will be an issue. Williams should go with him. And to get off him as much as possible out the back much like what cockface Keays does to us v Adelaide.

Plenty engaged here, just not in to banging on about selections.

Enthusiasm taken a hit with HOF going down. Injury to Lemmey means no audition, similar for Ben C with his holiday.

Looking forward to Harry building after a challenging year and the continuing evolution of our future leaders like Ollie, Moo, Moir, Lord, Carroll etc. Would like Harry Charleson to get a taste. Keep Lord in the engine room for a big chunk, regardless of Cez’s availability. Want our small forwards rotated through nuanced roles, Voss and co. need to lose the preconception.

Don’t want McGovern to hit his trigger mark. We need the scope to assess the list, make room where necessary, but retain whoever is needed. Not totally against him playing next year, but needs to be decided with relativity to the balance of the list. If HOF was not injured, and Kempy comes back in good nick (touch wood) along with progression from HOK, I see us moving past Gov and commonsense says even a lowly fourth rounder in return is something.

Happy to keep TDK until the expected bitter end. Happy if Pitto is rotated, not dropped to give O’Keeffe another taste, but non-essential.

Think we will give the Suns a run, similar to Freo. Hoping Crippa and George back up OK to lead the charge.

Couldn't agree more. I think the Club needs to realise how much damage this season is doing to the supporter base. It's actually catastrophic. So many friends that I would be texting 10 times a week about the game ahead, who would be playing etc, now have absolutely zero interest in talking about the footy. The apathy has reached diabolical levels.

Would like Lucas C and Wilson or Charleson to come in, I think we have seen enough of Gov and he’s probably not here next year anyway.

Perhaps we can keep an eye on who might be worth swapping in a Charlie trade. Wonder if they have dropped Jed to make him a little disgruntled before the trade period? Would be nice …
