I thought that Cheesy had a really poor year, compared to what the man can do. He was a bystander in a lot of games. I actually thought that the club might trade him. What do you pie supporters think?

agree but I think usually he is ver consistent, didn't think that he would be traded because of that, the man doesn't have great skill but tries very hard, in the packs, gets it out all day long and very consistend. Kinda like an grown up McGough exept Goughy lacks consistnecy.

I think that he shows so much every now and then. If he has a blinding season I think he could be a top 10 midfielder. BUT if he doesnt we have to start to ask more of him and soon, with younger players coming through they could be getting experience in the team in his spot.

I thought he did better this year, than he did last year.
While he was injurred for a good part of it his 2002 was very ordinary. Since arriving at Collingwood he has had a good half to three quarters of a good first season adn a played a few good games last year. he should have been traded this post season in stead of Scotland and even with the Scotland trade he should have been offloaded to make way for the guys we had at Willi most of last year and Brayden Shaw.

he can play but he is very ecxpendible to Collingwood.

Can't agree Mark that he should have been traded, he played some very good games from the HF line.
He played mainly as a small forward most of the year with stints in the centre when others were being rested.

Joel, how many games did you actually go to, to see him play? I understand you don't go to too many.

Murray I think he is a decent oplayer but we have plenty of midfielders and he is one a few clubs might be interested in. His disposal and pace are ordinary and he is probabbly rated by a few clubs so I'd rather have seen him go than Scotland or as well as if we got a decent deal. If we had offered him early on we may have had something better to bargain with for Stevens or even a ruckman.

IMO if O'Bree playes most games next year we won't have improved a lot.

Murray, don't try and play your childish mind games with me. You're pathetic.

First of all, what has that got to do with anything?

FYI, I go to as many games as I can, sorry let me rephrase that, I go to as many as I can afford to go to. When you only get one shift a week, and you have a ****load of uni work, it does pile up.

Having said that, I went to about 8 games this year.

So does that exclude me from having an opinion?

Get a life.

Personaly I would like to see O`Bree played as a small crumbing forward pocket and move didak up to the flank as he is a bigger kick and much quicker

Backs B.Johnson Wakelin Clement
H/Backs J.Cloke Presti Cole
Centres Woey Licuria Lonie
H/Forward Buckley Rocca Didak
Forward O`Bree Tarrant Davidson

Rucks Fraser Burns Lockyer

Bench Holland Richards Shaw Walker

Emerg Lokan C.Cloke King Shakleton

My thoughts: I would like to see Richie Cole play another year of the back flank as part of his learning before he goes into a midfiels role where I believe he is going to shine.

Lonie on to a wing where we get to see much more of his blistering runs and even more goal scoring

Didak on a flank instead of in the pocket as he has a lot of genuine pace and dead quick off the mark and a lovely long kick

I see O`Bree as more likely to be damaging as a crumbing ball getter close to goal.

Bucks out on a flank for his incredible kicking, space making ability and to prolong his career.

This is why I am still excited

Dudes he did wat better this year then he did last year this year he got 425 disposals last year it was285!!!! That alone tells the story!!

He wasn't that bad, not as bad as some!!!

He had a fair year. He struggled to rise above and take tear the game apart as he showed first half of 01'. Still a contributor, and very important, as he is a good forward line rover. Needs to get his passion to play back.

Brenton, perhaps your right maybe he is missing the passion, but why? It seems to me that every player at Collingwood has a fair bit to play for each week. I just want to know why he has been so inconsistant, maybe have Woey there has put his nose out of place?

It seems most people are generally in violent agreeance.

Move O'Bree to the pocket. He needs to add another dimension to his game or he will be trade bait next year for sure.

Didak to the flank. He also needs to deliver in '04.

IMO Caringbush's team seems spot on. (although I hope C.Cloke can deliver and pushes Walker out of the 22)

A couple of those emergencies will be right up O'Bree's perverbial if he doesn't deliver.

I think that the pressure will be on early. We left several experienced players at Willy throughout the season and mm wont be afraid to put him there
