HAD to share this as it gave me a huge laugh. Reading the Herald Sun today, John Worsfold declared star Eagle Mark LeCras “cherry ripe” to return to the midfield tonight against the Demons. Remember when that legendary former Tigers coach “Spud” Frawley would always declare us “cherry ripe” for the next big contest and we’d inevitably get flogged. Was embarrassing! “Cherry ripe” … thought I’d never hear that expression again!

Iddy, there's a show on TV up here called 'Off the Bench" with Spud and Liam Pickering and the local bloke from WIN TV in Ballarat. They plug country football but simply amateurish and Spud comes across as every bit the farmer. WOEFUL!
