I'm a bit busier this year, so I'm resisting the lure of the Bay a bit more. Still round the Demons & Roys boards the same way though.

All of us supporting MFC have been shocked the last 2 games. Reckon the big prob's our assistant coaches- clearly player development's still poor, & I think there's a communications breakdown between coaches & players.

Oh there's no chance at all that Neeld won't be there for as long as it takes. There's no part of our current situation that's remotely his fault - and nor could there be, since he's only been with us half a year. We're a long-term work in progress. That's the reality of it.

I've been firmly convinced he was the right guy for us since we appointed him, and nothing's appeared to change my mind since. Malthouse also strongly agrees, of course.

Despite appearances, we're definitely on the right track here. If we actually let ourselves be pressured into being so reckless as to remove Neeld, that'd be a disaster. Obvious that certain people in the media are seeking to push us into that, because they know if we did, our situation on the field would become even harder to repair than it currently is.

Youngest played his first game today, so i have only seen second and third quarter. We are in this, if we can just get a couple of goals, i reckon we could over run them. Young team though, some silly mistakes will happen.
