While the loss to Freo was admittedly a shocker, you have to expect these things sometimes.

The next three games are all "iffys" by my numbers. 50-50. This weekend and the next three games represent the final four games of the regular season. There is time enough to catch up in the tail end.

I've been assured by the trogs from the lesser 15 that losing with key injuries is perfectly acceptable. I don't subscribe to that BS, but whatta ya gonna do, eh? We'll get the Dockers later.

It's likely our standing won't be getting much better in the next three weeks. Any win at all will be a bonus. Losing won't matter one frick. I am certain you all recall the "Chicken-Crapola" incident from last year? Doesn't matter. We may have to lose some face for the period of one menstrual cycle, but it will be artificial I assure you.

From a fans perspective, the next game of value we must win will be the Carlton game.

I personally guarantee a season this year no worse than 13-9. It may not look like it for a frustrating while, but it is true. Afterall, we have to get the 9 somehow now don't we? ;)

Peace, and let the beer wash away an lingering doubts about my spread sheet numbers.

This week with only 4 talls playing a loss wouldn't be a disgrace but with richo and vardy back for the adelaide game and no more injuries we will go into that game with a pretty strong side..There would be no excuses imo for losing the adelaide game as we would have all of our top 10 playing and only about 3 of our top 20 players missing..Assuming our luck does improve over the next few weeks i would be disappointed if we weren't 4-3 or better after 7 rounds..

Are you sure that Richo is only going to miss the 3 I thought that it would be 4 weeks.

I would think he would be back by next week at least , i tihnk he has started full training already and in the past he has tended to come back form injuries pretty well and quickly...The adelaide game is played pretty much exactly a month after he got injured..

Of course its only a matter of time before he injures himself again.:(

He was listed in yesterday's paper as being only out for a further week!

I wouldn't risk him next week. He has a history with his hammy, and while 21 days is the regular hamstring recovery time, I wouldn't be surprised hif he missed both the Hawthorn and Adelaide clashes.

Better four than eight weeks, right?

Wouldn't be surprised if they named him THIS WEEK, then pulled him out pre-match, just to unsettle the Hawks.
