We need to put some sort of voice projection cone on Choco I reckon JAK...

...nothing amplified or illegal, just a megaphone/jacket/hood (to protect his voice from the cold) decked out with the sponsors logos, so he has full ground penetration, genuinely frightens anyone within 50m and makes the opposition bench completely unable to sonically compete.

lets just hope he doesn't get the itch to coach again! for another team that is!

I think his coaching days are over (I hope). This role suits him perfectly.

Any doubt how committed to the club Choco is?

Halfway up the flanks, chalk all over his boots from running the line, screaming instructions, covering half the ground with his voice.

Good to see. :thumbsu:

Since when did anyone actually doubt this????????????????????????

He is a beauty- passionate, smart, winner and just slightly deranged. Also love that he picked us.

We should never underestimate the worthiness of the deranged element, zip. ;)

Choco's a great spark, he's got a real feel for the players and the moment.

He didn't hold back and he was inspirational. Tested boundaries, literally.

Enough to make me reconsider this whole 'coaching from the boundary' caper as all it could be.

Choco just drew a magical line between being coach, runner and crowd-drawing coaching phenomena, influencing everyone withing shouting distance as he prowled the boundary.

Full credit to all our coaching staff tonight and arguably Hardwick most of all, because he has certainly been an aficionado of the boundary coaching style and Choco didn't end up there by coincidence.

I liked the way it worked and certainly the way it was implemented tonight.

Dimma was pretty good tonight to apparently Rayzor ?

Thanks, Raw Meater.

I've always loved Choco. He does things his way and doesnt bow to the masses. I like the fact that players will be slightly scared of him, he's an agry campaigner and to be honest, if the "sleeping giant" is to ever awake... its a personality like this that redefine the status quo.

If Melbourne had any brains, they'd be all over him. Shit l hope they dont, but seriously... there's only 3 people in football that are qualified and could do that job - Roos, Eade and Choco. Choco will be the cheaper option.

If asked, he'd take it too. Hence why he left GWS. Love the fact that he demands compliance from a select group of youngsters he hand picked to mentor and develop. Love it.

I think he's doing a fantastic job for the club. Appears to be really getting involved with his role. I would really hate to lose him but I think he would be on Melbourne's radar at the moment along with Eade. I would not blame him if he wanted to be a Senior coach again.

The attitude of him and everyone displayed at the game tonight is the sort of thing that will galvanise the team and club together.
