I have had a go at Hyde for not getting enough of the ball the last couple of weeks. Well today he got plenty and played great.

Still don't know if he can get 25+ touches weekly but if he can he will be a very good midfielder.

Very surprised at our midfield's performance today. Done well in the second half especially.

We really needed a couple of our blokes in the early 20's age range to step up and join Cogs as important players for the club and our future core. Gyde and Tuck has filled that void.

Hyde has been outstanding thus far for us. Ditto Tuck. Along with Bowden they are our leading possession getters.

Even Pettier has shown abit.

Gee, pretty harsh mate.

Knocked up just under 20 touches in the first round and 30ish today.

I think Pettifer may cement a prominent role on the forward flank. He's a good smaller forward option when Richo has 5 opposition guys on him.

Hyde so far this year has been great, he does what every coach wants his players to do, back themselves, brake open the flood gates, and go straight down the field.
Today he was also able to find so of the pill in close and gave out some handballs. Will be a exellent player oneday and hes also a great bloke ;)

Tuck, followed his progess though the VFL last year, was always going to get the chance to play seniors, just a real tough player, gets the ball in the packs, and makes it go the right way. Very happy with how hes stood up and played so far this year, will only improve.

Krakouer, just needs to get some consistency.

Jackson- improving, omproving, improving

he looks the goods. he has really improved on last years preformances. in 2003 he hardly got a game.in 2004 he played every game and improved alot and this year he looks like he will play every game baring injuries

You cant fault his work rate and desire. I like Pettifer, but he should take a leaf out of Hydes book.He needs to work harder when he hasn't got the ball.He has twice the ability and skills of Hyde, but Hyde really wants it-and good on him.

the lads gunning it, growing in stature every week....runs hard, dispossal is crisp, very impressed with his imporvemtn

He had a big game.

There was a lot of pressure on him to perform without johnson in the side.

He stepped up to the plate and gave it a real spanking!!!

Goooooooooooooo Hyde!!!!
