I don't have time due to work and family commitments to go to VFL games. I was wondering if anyone knows how Chris Kangars is settling in the side, how his development is it possible for him to step up to senior level next year for a few games? I know he was a good player at Joeys, Mick Turner had a few good things to say about him (and he has a good eye for champs) so anyone know anything? Cheers.

senior footy next year - NO

imo unless he gets his skills and decision making up and footy smarts i dont think he will ever play afl. good vfl player and has improved alot but needs to be doing more with his skills and decision making. will take time.

Can't remember where I saw it but was in best players a couple of weeks ago, and coach gave him a good wrap.

Just found this:

Yeah, he did play well on Throp, however Thorp is not particularly fit at the moment and made Kangars job a lot easier. And Box Hills midfield was pretty depleted that day too, and he wasn't getting the best delivery. That said hopefully he keeps on developing well and provides good depth for us in the future.

he did kill thorp i saw that game and he was outstanding. thorp had a few good balls come in n kangars beat him one on one and on the lead. round 1 he played on riewoldt n he kicked 6 and then played on morton for a bit n he kicked 7 so 2 average afl players killed him that day.
