If Luff is taken top 30, it WILL be quite a surprise. Most of the people rating players this year reckon he is a late chance or a rookie chance.
That said, there is a lot to like about Luff. He is a smart defender who tries to make each contest on his terms. He beat Houghton, for example, in the Colts Finals by frustrating him as much as anything. Houghton didn't get to use his strengths very often and had a very poor game.
Luff went to WA State Screening and did OK, but didn't set the house on fire. He looks to be a decent prospect, but don't expect him to be an early pick.
