I really didn't want us to recruit Tarrant. Had watched him in a game for Coll V Bulldogs and he was awful. Missed some easy set shots and looked past it. I also thought we should be trying to strengthen our embarrassingly slow midfield. Whether that was with young kids or mature midfielders didn't matter, it was the one glaring area of concern for most people who follow Freo. So no i shuddered at the thought of us getting Tarrant.
Having got him over here, he has given 100%, showed some guts when other guys were dropping their heads and has been pretty good. Apart from his unreliable goal kicking - and we knew he was like that when we got him - he has been good.
