I don't know about that - I think his disposal is often quite poor (as with many others, I can't fault his effort though). I know we all want him to develop into a star midfielder, and it may happen, but I do feel that Bird gets a bit of a free pass on this board, based on a lot of hype early on. I know he's young and we can't be too hard on the kid, but I think if I was an opposition supporter catching a Swans game in isolation and saw Bird, I'd be wondering what the fuss is about. To me, Jack is far more advanced at this stage of their careers.
