He really is the forgotten man, seems an age since he last played an AFL game.

Sadly, as good as he was a couple of years ago, he never recovered from that facial injury he picked up and the game has almost passed him by.

I'd be very suprised if 2007 wasnt his last year, he would be approaching 30 would he not?

I would think 2007 would be his last season, because I think he signed a 3 year deal at the end of 2004 (when there was speculation about losing him and Bruce).

As good and courageous as he was from 2002-2005 (prior to facial injury), he has not bounced back unfortunately. However, I will always remember the Biz as a good, albeit short-term, servant of the Melbourne Football Club.

Who knows with these things, it would seem very unlikely that he would play many games but if he gets a run and is in our best 22 chuck him in for sure.

He was a mercurial forward at Geelong. Inconsistant, but at his high flying best could match it with anyone. At Melbourne he was reinvented as a backman. Bizzell had so much potential, but unfortunately his body is now past it. Hopefully he makes something out of what will more than likely be his last year of AFL football.

Mr Clinton was one of my favourite players, used to be up for 'Mark of the Week' every second week it felt down at Kardinia Park.

I was rapt to see him performing for the MFC, and its sad to see him disappear. I remember about 2-3 years ago he could have slotted into any back six at one point, was in fine form.

He was robbed in the B&F one year, by Robbo I think it was, shocking result.

Yeah 2003, there was no doubt at all that he was our best player that year.

People say the game has passed him by. I disagree.
I'd love him to play for us again, but he'd have to knock out a player like Ward or Bell or Bartram.

Ward provides us with very good run and has effectively replaced Doggy Brown in the team.

Bartram is a promising youngster who has already made a name as a tagger either in the midfield or off half back.

The only spot Bizzell could take would be Bell's, but I don't think Bell has a guaranteed spot in the team anyway.
