Cloke has a clause is his contarct that states if he plays 10 or mroe games this year he gets a year added to his contract
he had played 9 games before the suspension
Upon his recall, (assuming he plays) he will play his 10th game thus adding one more year to his contract.

First time poster i am a big fan of clokes and i have been reading these posts all year to say im upset about how he is talked about on these posts is an understatement i look forward to seeing clokey do his best in the future he tries his guts out what more can you ask for

Nothing... But if you try your guts out and can't play well enough then you aren't good enough for AFL and will have to be delisted

Im not going to go back and forth with opinions about cloke or any other player i am a type of member who sees the good in all types of players i have faith in the mc and what clokey does saturday its up to him to prove people wrong i just think he can be a great avenue to goal what happens next year will be decided in due course i just think he can add something to our side my opionion and everyone has one which makes life interesting

I just don't believe a 'professional' club would base their contracts on how many games you play.
Too many What ifs
1. The club didn't want him but due to injuries they had to play him
etc etc

According to hutchisons reportsd it seems fiansl games are included.
He didnt mention anything about a performance clasue.

Contracted players can be delisted.

And Cloke will be cut.

The match committee are duty bound to pick the best available team.

Contracts wouldn't even enter into the discussion at match committee.

It will be interesting to see how he goes if he plays. When he was recalled a few weeks ago it was to play as a ruckman, but I think we all realise that he isn't big enough to be a ruckman. But with hampson and krooz playing we can only assume he will be used forward, where he has had some good results in the ants this year. This will be the first chance to see him up forward since earlier in the year, when mentally and physically he was confused if he was a ruckman or a forward.

I am a cloke fan, but I had come to the realisation that he had played his last game for us. So if he plays I will be shocked and I hope he does well. If he does become even half the tall forward we need we will be much less predictable over the next few weeks (depending how long we last).

I also hope he proves a lot of people wrong.... if he can take marks as he does and kick straight, there is a place for him. Setanta hasnt set the world on fire, Fisher has been disappointing so Cloke has a big stage this week to show what he can do and take some pressure off Fev.

He deserves another contract, a very underrated player and it was hard to understand what Rattens problem was with him for so many weeks whilst he was kicking bag after bag in the VFL

The wablues own Cameron Cloke will prove you all wrong. He provides safe hands and a good target eg from kick outs. He also does not get in Fev's way. He has his limitations but the MC gives him a roll to play. If he does his job they are happy even if you are not!

if you blokes want calrton to get anywhere you need to either buy a big name monster forward, or draft one. im sure you could upgrade your first pick somehow. unless Cloke brings himself into the game more and has more of a impact it will be the same thing, you fire one week and then the next you struggle.
