Just interested how many of you actually get on the floor and dance when you're in the club?

For those that do, what kinda dancing do you do?

Share your experiences here and how you feel about getting jiggy with it.

Also, given this is a male-dominated site, would be good if any females posting could post that they're female, coz I think there might be a difference in trend between the genders.

I usually get out on the dancefloor at some point when I'm out.

I kind of feel a bit awkward and self-conscious at first (as I'm usually taller and a bit more conspicuous than everyone else, and feel a bit like people are watching me), but after a couple of minutes I forget about that and relax and really enjoy it. I don't really do anything too fancy or exciting as far as moves go, but I feel I'm good enough to not look like a fool out there on the dancefloor :p

^What are your fave moves damon

I don't know, I just move a bit with the music I suppose. Like I said, nothing too fancy or exciting.

Being tall, it kind of looks a bit odd and feels a bit embarrassing if you're really pulling out showy dance moves :p

Would it be asking too much of the OP to make an attempt to answer the very question he expects other people to answer themselves?

Provide some diagrams if need be.

I used to lots until I was about 22, then I noticed all the fruits next to me and decided I couldnt being in the same bar as them.

Everytime I saw a muzza in a tight shirt dancing like a ***, I'd piss myself laughing right in their face and almost get the shit kicked through me so I stopped.

Yes and always.

My moves consist of;

The Lawnmower
The Shopping Trolley
The Sprinkler
The Mr Bean
The dance around flinging my legs to footloose
The Spinaround
The Move where you move your hands in a square shape
The muztek mock move (swing your arms to the front, making sure your tri's are tensed)
The air guitar solo to Jessie's Girl.

All this with some added cheese and it equals a good night out.

Plus I love singing the classics and booing the sh*t music.

Look out for the gangly 6ft 6 bloke dancing like a fool and it will probably be me. :D

Always hit up the dance floor when I go out, its probably one of the main reasons why I go out.

I'm female by the way.

I suffer from this weird phenomenon. Ill go out on the dance floor and bust some funky ass moves, than a chick comes up to dance with me and I lose ALL rhythm, and I start flopping around like a ****. Its not nerves or anything its just that Im a expansive danger and I feel if i bust my moves like I normally do someones gonna get hurt. Cant stand the whole body rub thing. Im just a bit too aggressive.

In closing, dancing by myself = John Travolta junior
but...........dancing with female = Steven Bradburys opponents

****ting around on the dancefloor tsk tsk. The dancefloor is just a big meat market. The only reason people might be interested in the way you dance is so they can suss out how agile and limber you'd be in the sack.

You better believe it. I don't **** around being a poser on the dance floor. I know what I want and I go in and get it. The only reason you should dance is to pick up. If you enjoy it, you're a queer. Don't shop like a woman... Go in, get what you want and get out of there.
I dance just because I like the music... You don't always need to dance just to pick up..
