To me, coaching is made way too complicated than it needs to be nowadays. If/when I coach an AFL side, there are only 2 questions I would ask each player before each quarter:
How fast are you gonna run?
What are your legs made of?
If the answers come back - As fast as a leopard & steel springs respectively, you know everything is gonna be OK USA.
Now if the finances of the club permitted, I would actually employ a guy to play a synthesiser in the background just to add to the feel.
