Dont know if it has been asked.

Did the club give any indication at all about how long it should be before the new coach brings home silverware or performs? Just interesting as it is not too often a coach is sacked when their team makes finals, usually they are right down the bottom so they are given a couple of years to rebuild and show some improvement and an indication of a solid direction. So was anything said, officially or sort of hinted in the media about how long he would be given or what was expected?

To be honest im not too sue but i wouldn't of thought they would say that, weel atleast publicly..too much pressure on the bloke. but your right in they way you say dont often get sacked whrn making finals, so in saying that they obviously are expecting some in the next couple of years

yeah cool. I am out of the fishbowl over here in Boston so it is a bit hard to keep track of everything. He is probably under a lot more pressure than most coaches coming in as really he is expected to do it all first year, will be interesting to see what happens if you havent won a flag by 2008. If you start to slide will he be there to rebuild?
