Was that just under AFL?
I would like to chuck a little on myself but cant see the market :(

Market has been closed, usually happens when an influx on bets happen, more so when it happens to an outsider.

Online betting is designed to get people to bet & lose their money of course
The last thing you are going to get from an online betting agency is accurate information.
They know nothing about the Suns next coach.

Missed it by that much then :p
I thought it was another of those restrictions on WA residents things.

Still hope Caracella gets the gig, been big on him since before Eade left the building.

Which is why in betting groups like this you can take advantage.
Generally the news drops and it's quickest finger, the better to get on or the agency to correct the odds.

Ended up around 1k up during the soccer transfer market, twitter was a great source of info.

I know, a twitter trade expert etc. but this guy has been very accurate the past few weeks. I think he's pretty good.

Well I'm on Dew and today with the rumours hedged on Caracella, if either of those I'll be happy.

Please change your name to Mr Love

Mr Bods had said to me a little while ago that if we started winning games he would become a lot more positive. I suggest that if we make the 8 next year that this needs to happen.

So it will be Barker

Media conference will go something like this

Media, So John congratulations on the appointment, what do you think you bring to the role?

Barker, lots of outdated ideas that I have never had to implement but I’m sure they will work out. Oh oh and a McDonalds level 4 coaching certificate, Look it has a gold star on it.

Media, okkkkaaayyyyyy....... what made you the stand out candidate?

Barker, well my mate
Marky Mark Evan, (winks over at Evans sitting in the crowd) told me my standout quality is to think for myself, (yells out to Evans in the crowd) “was that what you said Mark?”

Evans facepalms

Melbourne assistant coach Brendan McCartney has tipped Stuart Dew to be the next coach of Gold Coast.

The former Western Bulldogs coach, who all but ruled himself out of the race despite interviewing for the vacant position, believes the job will be handed to the current Swans’ assistant.

“My tip is Stuart Dew to coach the Suns,” McCartney said.

“I had a chat to Gold Coast about a lot of things and part of that was the senior coaching role that had appeal to me.

“It certainly interested me with the opportunity to grow a club but it’s unlikely for me.

“I’ll get on with my life at Melbourne and helping Simon Goodwin.”

Dew has taken on a number of coaching roles at Sydney after joining the club in November of 2009. His most recent post has involved heading up the club’s midfield and strategy.

Last year he refused to apply for the vacant Brisbane Lions position, preferring instead to remain at the Swans.

Gold Coast, which has narrowed the coaching search down to Dew, John Barker and Scott Burns, has been in a state of limbo since axing coach Rodney Eade following the side’s Round 20 loss to Fremantle.

The club is also dealing with the exodus of players after Gary Ablett, Brandon Matera and Adam Saad requested trades. The futures of Aaron Hall, Trent McKenzie and Matt Shaw are in doubt while co-captain Tom Lynch is not contracted beyond next season.

SEN footy analyst Danny Frawley says the club must announce its coach prior to the commencement of Monday’s trade period.

Free agent Steven Motlop toured the Suns’ facility today and is shaping as part the Ablett trade.
