I think you're all reading into the "3rd last" finish a bit too much, The mid-lower table was really compressed this year. We were actually a win and percentage off of 13th in the end

Finishing as low as we did for the amount of wins that we had actually works for us come draft night, I know what you're going to say: "we've got enough talented teanagers" blah blah blah

But I'd rather much have the high draft pick and the leverage that comes with it rather than finishing 9th and having no finals and a middle of the pack draft pick.

Sound logic big Red, unfortunately it’s our Hail Mary picks that seem to work out best for us. Ballard at 41, Touk in the mid 20’s, Collins as a top up.

If it’s true Clarko is taking a year off away from footy then it is the wrong time to get rid of Dew now, it means if we get rid of Dew now we will miss out on getting clarko if he takes the year off away from footy and we’ll end up with another dud as coach.

I think that’s the general consensus around here, if the angry midget is gettable now then sack Dew, if he wants a year off then retain Dew ( and get another top 3 pick in 2022) and make an offer to Clarkson then.
