You'd hope well.

Assuming Deledio & Tambling play for our 1st 22 id want the following for Coburg -

McGuane - key postion
Archibald - key postion
Limbach - full forward
Polo - on ball / flanks
Meyer - on ball / forward flanks
Gilmour - onball / forward line
Thursfield - full back
Pattison - ruck / CHF
Foley - rover

Moore, Raines, Roach will get Coburg games also you'd think.

Dean Limbach will probably start of in the 2s at Coburg and should be given time, throwing him into the physical VFL senior competition is very silly. I also think you will find Ryan Oconner will play out of the goal square, Micheal Rix and Nic Bruton (Ex Dog) will share the ruck duties along with either Knobel or Stafford or Pattison when spending time at the VFL.

All the other blokes you mentioned will play senior footy, Mcguane might start of the in the magoos as well, it just depends on what senior Coburg players are available but considering that they had a heap of of the older class leave this season there chances are better.

Coburg Players that will be in no doubt to start in the round 1 side will be:

Eric Kuret 177cm
Rob Young 198cm
Ryan Oconner 195cm
Michael Rix 199cm
Nic Bruton (if fit) 205cm
Nat Caruso 186cm
Brad Rayson 180cm
Leigh Carlson 185cm
Adam Houghlihan 186cm
Josh Houghlihan 184cm

Thats about 10 or so players give or take 1 or 2 that will be in the round 1 side so my guess would be the Richmond players that would get a gig in the round 1 side would be:

Nick Foley 176cm
Kayne Pettifer 184cm
Adam Pattison 198cm
Andrew Raines 182cm
Shane Morrison 193cm
Kelvin Moore 190cm
Rory Hilton 186cm
Alex Gilmour 184cm
Thomas Roach 184cm
Dean Polo 187cm
Kyle Archibald 191cm
Danny Meyer 181cm

That leaves to start of in the 2s at Coburg :

Thursfield
Lombach
Mcguane

When you look at the side for Coburg assuming its going to be something like ive written which im fairly certain it will then its going to be a very tall side.

cheers

Cheers for the reply.

Limbach is a full forward but also has the abilty to play as the 2nd/3rd forward. At Calder Cannons last year he performed this role thus I reckon he will be able to make the Calder 18. If Ryan O'Conner is played out of the square id have Limbach in a pocket or flank. Probley a good move to start him in the 2's however.

McGuane has been class at training and I reckon he'd easily make the Coburg 22.

From the senior players id expect Knobel to get games for Coburg if both Stafford and Simmonds are fit. Stafford will play for Richmond or not play at all, ditto Simmonds. Hilton, Hall, Tivendale, Morrison, Pettifer will all get games.

Surly Pattison will play ruck/key postion while Shane Morrison will be tested at CHB (he will start with Richmond round 1 for Jay Schultz me thinks.)
