I'm ****ing tired so if I make a mistake and you point it out i'll jump down your throat. I don't even know how to start this off, too tired to think.
Yesterday AlienWare hosted a massive 800-900 people COD:WaW 24 Hour Launch Party spanning from 4pm Saturday to 4pm Sunday at Swinbourne in Hawthorn. Let me be the first to tell you that AlienWare don't have a ****ing clue how to run things, this was the worst organised event i've ever been to. Half the attendees are getting their money back, this was a joke.
I arrived with my friend at 4pm and saw what a massive line there was, there would've been atleast 500 people waiting. So me and my friend went off for an hours walk to find food for tea that night. There's just something about not wanting to pay $7 for a sandwhich, yes that's right $7 from the cafe!! When we come back the line hasn't moved at all. Everyone was getting restless and annoyed because the doors hadn't even been opened yet and this was at 5:15pm. Luckily my friend saw one of his friends and we jumped the line but luckily because this line had just gotten bigger.
AlienWare had set up 100 PCs and 100 Xbox 360s with COD:WaW on them. Now don't even bother asking how that works when there's 900 people all trying to get a shot. This place was crowded, there was almost no room to move. I had no idea what happened but we seemed to get pushed to this place on the side.
Anyway before we got in we decided to plan out what we were going to do. Laser Skirmish was what we decided to do first. Laser Skirmish was supposed to be in an underground carpark, seems like fun we thought. So we're in there right and there's nothing that resembles a Laser Skirmish Arena. We asked the guy and he said there's no Laser Skirmish but they had inflatable chairs to make up for it. He told us that we were supposed to sit on the cold hard floor when we played on the 360s.
Let me just skip the rest of the story and sum up the shitty night.
Now i'll review the game.
I finished COD:WaW in four hours on the 360. That's right four hours and this was on a hard difficulty (not the hardest). The storyline doesn't really make sense, some of the levels are repetitive and uninspiring. The graphics are good, they match COD4. There is some really, really bad glitches. Multiplayer and Co-Op is the best part of the game. If you don't have friends to play this game with then it's not really worth it. Overall I rate the game 7.5/10.
Now the best part. Photos. Don't judge my hair, it was late and I was tired from no sleep on Friday either.
Now respect me.

- We didn't get a 360 until two hours after the event had started.
- From hours 8pm-11pm there was no power. All 360s and PCs had turned off and they had to call in a sparkie at 11pm.
- At midnight a 360 caught fire so they had to evacuate the building. Two Fire Trucks came.
- The free V didn't come out until 2am. By this time everyone had already left. It was down from 900 people to 200 by midnight if that. Everyone had given up and went home pissed off and are trying to get their money back.
- There was no Laser Skirmish, no KillZone Tactical Course, no Gaming Cinema, no PC Press and Editors of the big PC Game Magazines that you could talk to and ask questions. There was no cheap games as they promised, the 007 Qantum of Solace game was only a 5 minute demo. I didn't get a ****ing pen or hat as promised in the showbag.
